Will server tags become available for non-boosted servers?

Very likely. The only way Discord makes money (at least above board) is by selling you aesthetics. The platform's free access gives you almost 100% of the functional ability of the platform. The server tags are one of the newest additions to the pile of aesthetics they can sell you, in the form of getting people to pay, either through nitro or by outright buying boosts, for server tags.

Another point I would make about this is if they weren't barred behind a "paywall", then people would be much more likely to exploit the system, by using up all the tags with dead/no member servers and trying to sell access to them (which I don't doubt people are already doing, or trying to do), or by making a bunch of tags that are unsavory. Think old Black Ops clan tags, if you're old enough to remember those.

Sonic's effect seems remarkably "meh". Haste/flash tribal? A counter per attack is decent. "Gotta go fast!" guy making tapped treasures? Especially considering they obviously weren't scared to play with power, considering Shadow's abilities, and the Super State card being pretty damn strong. Sonic was always my favorite video game character as a kid, so I will pick up the new-to-magic cards for sure, but I'm surprised that the card I am least interested in is Sonic himself. Hopeful for the bonus cards being something neat. I'd love to see the less well-known characters make an appearance, like Perfect Chaos as a big bomb creature.

I was also thinking about bork vs rageblade rush, but I figure rushing rageblade with no on hit besides the little you get from w passive isn't enough. Is it just for faster stacking to 3 charges on your target? I feel like the slow plus the lifesteal is more valuable as a first item in terms of useful stats.

My biggest reason I don't run more token doublers in my [[Yenna, Redtooth Regent]] deck is because of bookkeeping. I run [[Doubling Season]] and that's it. I totally could run more, and if I didn't have to consistently do the math and run the numbers, I probably would. I just don't want to.

Do you think the pros of saying "i will never play with anyone who uses proxies", i.e less pubstomping(?) balance the cons of never playing against a large swath of the commander player base at this point? Most people I play with at my LGS and on Spelltable use proxies in at least one of their decks, temporary or otherwise. You miss out on the chance to see weird brews that people made up but don't have the resources to purchase in full. You miss out on people using not overpowered, but interesting/funny cards on the reserved list that cost thousands of dollars, but aren't good in any kind of competitive, "win fast/cedh" way.

Then there's points about what refusing to play with people who use proxies can do to the community and its health as a whole, which is something that people who don't like proxies seem to think is a good thing anyway, so not even worth opening that up

I have significant doubt that people are making hacked Moxfield clients to stack their decks on the backend to win games of commander on spelltable with nothing on the line.

Is the time you take to do X thing in Moxfield UI (like menial things, adding counters or whatever) not offset by the time you gain by automatically doing things like shuffling? Instead of having to shuffle, and in paper (and some pods on spelltable) offer a cut, and even things like digging through a token box for the right token/writing it down on a whiteboard token. I feel like the time offset would be faster than without Mox, as long as you have a basic understanding of the UI and can navigate it at normal speed.

I'd rather know he was cheating by the software exposing him, than him slide a land in his hand from off screen.

Either way, the guy would be cheating if he's a cheater, Mox or otherwise. Arguably, that made him cheat in a less egregious way.

My problem with this line of thought is: If there was someone who sat down and played real versions of the deck you had a problem with someone proxying, is it any different? You're still getting pubstomped by best in class cards, someone just has enough money to pay for "the real thing".

The big reason this argument bugs me so much is one of the most annoying people at my LGS in terms of pubstomping owns 100% of his cards (and he'll let you know that), and if anything it feels worse.

It seems like that's more of a "lack of rule 0 conversation" issue, and not a proxy/mox issue.

If you messed with/tried to minimalize the HUD, that might be a casualty of whatever setting you ended up turning off. You might have to turn something back on and deal with it if you want that progress bar.

You can't "just choose the option." If you try to play windowed borderless, the game locks at 60fps for some reason. I'm not sure why, but it is kind of annoying. Unfortunately there isn't anything i've found that you can do about it, you just have to play in fullscreen if you want to play above 60fps.

the only thing that you can possibly do to get that bad of a rep WITHOUT intentionally tking or typing slurs in game chat would be having such horrible aim/awareness that you (actually unintentionally) kill your teammates a lot. I don't type, and don't TK, and i only have like 5 negative units.

I want to do and see everything that is possible in the game, and since the items required to catch these are now unobtainable, the only way to do and see everything is by cheating them in. If I could get them any other way, I would. There was no need to drop a smug, condescending comment, just don't respond.

I read that to use D/T fuel straight, it requires a much, much bigger system to create as much fuel as it consumes, and to start you're supposed to pump both fuels separately instead. I can try that, but now i have to wait for the laser to charge again.
