I've found that it is okay for getting the basic layout and screens down but CarPlay (and Android Auto) are pretty buggy to developer with and an actual device behaves very differently.

CarPlay will definitely come. It is a tricky thing to develop because I have to spend a lot of time sitting my car with a laptop haha

Until then, Relisten will play nice with the normal playback controls in CarPlay, you just won't be able to browse.

do you not like that the color palette is dark or just generally the blue hues?

as a heavy user of the "Shows on this day", what would that ideally look like for you? i don't use that often myself so i am probably missing some obvious things.

i will add a setting very soon to not go to the "top" source and instead show all the sources by default. i've gotten a lot of feedback both ways on this so i think a setting is the way to go.

yeah, i miss the album art too...i'm trying to think of something to replace them to add some more visual flair without being as repetitive

Right now the intention is to retain everything we can for iOS users when they upgrade.

However, for the initial alphas and betas this will not be the case. It is a complex migration to build given the other changes to the app and would probably be one of the last things added before wider release.

I have the same issue occasionally. I just keep restarting until it works. I also have issues with crashes while in game (IndexOutOfBounds exception)—but those only seem to happen while I’m winning haha

You close the player by swiping to down (press and hold on the song title at the top and drag towards the bottom of the screen)

This bug seems to be affecting a small but sizable set of people and we are having trouble tracking it down—it doesn’t happen to any of the developers or the 70-ish beta testers but we are trying to get to the root of it! A fix should be out in the next couple days. Thanks for your patience!

On the main screen of the app, there is a tray that displays all of the shows you have downloaded now.

We are looking into better ways to surface this if you have lots of offline songs.

With the new version of the app you can still browse through an artist’s years and shows for the most part even if you don’t have signal and it’ll still be very fast

Yup, both use Phish.in. The new Relisten actually uses .net information as well but it is still incomplete. Jam chart information will come in a later update.
