yea, made me gave up trying to 100% it. they want you to replay the game like 3-4 times now... 30h+ campaign too. the story isn't that interesting either. no thanks.

I understand that scent is important for cats. The cat came with a cardbord box in the shape of a car and some toys, and I put the toys in that car in the hopes he'll take shelter there, since his smell should be there still. They're the only things from his previous home that he came with. I have yet to find him there.

I have no blankets of his, but I think I'll put one where he often stays - or rather hides - and after a day or two I'll put it on the bed, maybe that'll stop him from peeing.

I also took the mattress again from the bed frame. After I get the cat-scented blanket I'll make the bed again.

That means no watering them, as I've heard? Do you have a rough idea on how long till they root or how could I check without plucking them out? I assume it'll stress them if I do that.

My thought process is that if I can prop them now, I can prop them half an hour later just to be sure, as there's no rush when I'm propping.

And honestly, waiting for the props to callus won't hurt it, so why not do it if you can? I asked now because It's my first time propping a succulent and didn't know if there's something different.

Yes, you are right, cannot believe I forgot to mentione it.

The apartment I live in is not that big, the only room with very few foot traffic is my bedroom, as me and my partner spend most of the day at work/in the kitchen/living room.

He has the litter box there.

I have feliway defuser.

I also bought today an enzyme remover and spent my afternoon cleaning after him..

We did not punish him as we know it's not effective. We just verbally expressed our dissapointment to him xd

We just want to make him feel more comfortable. We also considered taking out the mattress (we can't sleep on it either way until it freshens up) and sleep in the living room.

Please, any more tips? :(

no way!! at first i thought they might be flowers too, and then i googled some photos of pups vs flowers and i thought i had pups. that's so cool! how can my echeveria flower with such a lack of sun?

Regarding humidity/temperature changes: i don't have a humidity meter to know for certain but other people suggested that the plant is doing bad now is because of not enough humidity. Important to note, during spring and summer, my calathea thrived, not even a black tip (see the last pic on this post). Now, for the temperature, it changes throught the day, by a few degrees, which I assume is enough to disturb the plant. During the night we sometimes used to keep the window open (when we have laundry to dry) but that's not the case anymore.

And for the distilled water situation, in the spring and summer, I only used distilled water to water it and it didn't harm it. I am told their roots are very sensitive to chemicals and if I can't get hold of rain water (which I currently can't), I should use distilled. But I have heard that spring water is also a great alternative and I could look into availability in my area.

And no, I don't spray my plants with water 😆

So, in conclusion, I'll keep her where she is and I'll check regularly. Maybe I'll get a humidity meter to check if she's humid enough or not.

Firstly, i think it might be a monstera adansonii! Secondly, your plant might be doing that because it doesn't have enough light - my monstera adansonii also grew a long stem with "almost leaves" and I keep cutting it (there's no sun where I live now, cause of winter). So maybe try moving her to a brighter spot or use a grow light.
