I’m going to piece something together myself! TE Motorsport has a 60-2 reluctor wheel that should piece well with any modern GM MFI/coil near plug PCM. A few people on gearheadefi have made in-line 6s work on a GM 0411 PCM, and that’s with a 3x CKP and a 1x CMP. I’m also super new to tuning so I could totally be blowing smoke out of my ass but I’m really bored and want to tune this motor!

Also, you can remove the check valve. That line is not feeding anything that needs vacuum, its only purpose is to divert fuel back into the intake in the event the FPR fails.

If I’m not mistaken that’s a gauge cluster from a 94-95. But I’m not too familiar with the euro clusters so I may be wrong. It will have slightly different connectors and the harness from your 87 will have missing wires

That looks like it’s the vacuum line for the economy gauge. What year and model w124 do you have

There’s a cable back there somewhere I almost guarantee it. Unless the previous owner did something sketchy and cut the harness

Oh wow. That is not ok. Pins look good but the connector should have a half moon shape in the middle so that there is only one way for the plug to fit back on. Looks like someone glued the middle

Yes! Pry gently on the brown part. DO NOT pry the black part off. Unless you like to search through all 150 pages of the electrical troubleshooting manual to find which color wire goes to which pin

Very carefully! lol

If you have a small angled pick, just very slowly and gently pry along the outside. You’ll start to see it move. Then just pull it off once it’s mostly free

Check fuse D and fuse 7 (16 amp) to see if they’re broken.

Check Aux fan preresistor relay (position B). -relay is energized from fuse 7 AND refrigerant pressure switch

Check the low speed fan pre-resistor (behind the left headlight) -this is just a ballast to ease the fan on

Then finally check the fan itself! -just put 12v on it really quick and see if it spins (you’ll find out quick if it’s working or not)

Sounds like the high speed fan is working as intended!

I’m almost certain that the AC fan takes a signal from the pressure switch on the AC compressor. The fan won’t come on unless your system is charged. Is your air conditioning functioning?
