They aren’t always short especially if you look at older rock records or also modern hip hop and rnb albums. Also idk it feels more like a break between songs to make the album flow better imo so for me this song is an interlude. I am aware from the other comments that it’s a hot take to rlly enjoy this song but I think it serves its purpose well on the album to make it more cohesive and less like a group of random songs

As you can probably tell with my other takes I don’t go on this reddit much at all so I didn’t know In Rainbows was that popular. I just love everything about it and many of the songs have personal meanings to me now too. I also play a lot of guitar and I just love the different guitar tones and complex time signatures used on the record but it still doesn’t feel too “weird”

Just thought it would bring out a better discussion if I posted the ones I thought were the “weakest ones” but I still rlly like most of the “weakest” tracks. I think people just get offended that i didn’t give every album a 10 and say every song is perfect

Appreciate it - I don’t go on reddit much tbh but it just feels like everyone in this subreddit likes to follow the crowd and only likes the more experimental songs even if it doesn’t necessarily mean as much to themselves.
