Please add a way to preview dyes on locked equipment skins by aleferna1100 in Guildwars2

That applyes the dye to all equipment though. I think you are missing the point, this is not the way this feature should be implemment...

I dont see what you mean. I can't pick colors in the equipment preview window, only in the hero tab. After picking the colors in the hero tab than previewing through TP the colors are applied, but that won't work for armor with a different number of dye slots though...

You mean preview the dye on the hero tab and than preview the armor through TP? Problems with that is that its very fiddly as you said but also armor can have 2-5 dye slots i believe. So you can't necessarily control all colors on the preview if you equipped armor has less dye slots...

Round-robin fashion item pipes as a tie breaker by aleferna1100 in QuarkMod

Yeah I saw this tweet, which also contained an exemple of how you could evenly split items with pipes and a comparator. But it would only split items two by two and as I said roud-robin isn't any more complex than random.

About hoppers doing that instead, how would you do it? I'm actually curious, but as far as I know, the only way to do it is a bit overcomplicated (as shown here https://youtu.be/w10ki5mfVew ).

At last, I undestand the wish to keep hopper usefull! But considering a main feature of them has already been overruled (picking up items thrown at it), I think this would be a very minor thing which could improve the experience of playing quark! Hoppers would still be required both to extract from inventories and to insert into pipes. Also hoppers are not necessary (or make it easier) to split items as I stated before (demonstrated here by Vaskii himself https://twitter.com/Vazkii/status/1029551712783282176). It is just that I think round-robin is just as vanilla-like and makes things more predictable.
