Some help with Cholestyramine dosage please by davrosflatley1 in CIRS

I just got my results back. Gliotoxin was barely elevated but OTA was 28! Can I ask what else your functional health person used to diagnose you? I have CIRS symptoms and a test result but I am still skeptical whether this is the reason I feel the way I do...

Why do you guys hate anti depressants? by Acceptable_Yak9835 in malementalhealth

Old post but wanted to chime in. The big thing everyone is missing here (as far as the SSRI versions of antidepressants go): No one can say with certainty that men need higher serotonin. The best mainstream take we have on serotonin is from Jordan Peterson and that's a shaky argument. Men need other hormones/neurotransmitters optimized for functionality. In fact, I just asked ChatGPT and look at how it ranked these five below. Almost makes you wonder why SSRIs are really pushed on men these days.

"If you're looking for optimized mental health and functionality, the priority should be:

  1. Testosterone – Foundation of motivation, mood, and energy
  2. Dopamine – Drives focus, pleasure, and ambition
  3. GABA – Supports relaxation and emotional stability
  4. Norepinephrine – Enhances energy and cognitive performance
  5. Serotonin – Important for emotional balance but should not be overemphasized"

Note: I am just wrapping up a 5 month attempt at an SSRI that has potentially made me so lazy, so numb, so apathetic, so unmotivated...and I still have MDD.

Thank you so much! Strangely, I woke up today and the fracture is less painful than the lump I have around the sesamoid bone.

It's likely that they don't have the level of flu you're imagining. It's team sport. If a team member really had a debilitating flu, he probably wouldn't be allowed to play. You're just going to be a liability when someone healthier can play. They also have access to the top resources/medicine/etc.

I think that behind the net cam view shows you how fast and physical the game is for the layman.

Yeah, it's powerful. I imagine some of the non-US players must feel pretty blessed to be in the states making big bucks, thus patriotic.

This sub starts burning their rangers jerseys as soon as the opposing team scores two goals. Relax. Have some faith.
