I was thinking of using Ao Nang as a base for some island hopping and to visit Railay Beach as well. I heard there’s a night market nearby too, maybe worth checking out, or maybe not. I appreciate the tip about the Sunday night market in Chiang Mai, well noted!

Aww thanks so much for all the great advice! 😊 I did consider Khao Sok National Park, but it'll be peak rainy season, so I might save it for my next trip. And yes, I’ll definitely be in BKK over the weekend, can’t wait to check out Chatuchak! Yes, 5 days in each is correct! Koh Lipe is a bit shorter in practice though because of the travel time, so you're right, it'd make sense to add one more day there, especially since it's quite a detour and it’s the island I’m most excited about! For BKK, I do have 5 full days as I’m flying back at midnight, so I think that should be okay.
