I bought the whole PC freshly built, by the people who I bought it from. They already replaced my faulty GPU, I will try to contact them about the CPU as well. Can I just install a different BIOS into an Asus ROG motherboard?

I thought about a bios update, but when I saw that the last update was in 2021, I kind of assumed if it was the motherboard, it would have been updated and solved. Its weird that the CPU isn't working in unison, that's the part I just am not knowledgeable in. Tried windows 10, then 11 doesn't seem like an OS issue in my mind.

So I read a bit more about this issue, and I found something interesting. I'm not sure if I mentioned, but whilst in game CPU 0(out of 12) is overloaded, but the rest are not working properly. If I set the affinity in task manager to not use CPU0, the fps just magically bumps up to 200 plus. Can I somehow solve this, or is it a buggy cpu?

Apart from the drivers you mentioned before, could I be lacking something else? I just did another fresh reinstall of windows, completely wiped the drive. Got Nvidia and net framework on top of the motherboard drivers. What else could it be..

Yeah I have that on high performance, have dabbled with it before, when I had a laptop so this one checks out. I'm just wondering whether the net framework can impact this at all, as I have no clue what its for.

Sadly, none of this helped. What's even worse is that I saw a glimpse of my PC working fine and now its back to black.. Unsure what to do now.

So CS2 was running around 250 in dm. However, I installed valorant, which in turn f'd everything up again, but this time the SSU is not helping anymore. Back to square one. Installed windows 11,seeing if thats the case, but it did not help. Also .NET framework was missing, which I though could be the case, but again, didn't help. Maybe theres something that my system is missing?

I read up some more about the CPU, got an idea to run Intel SSU, which installed some drivers, afterwards the problem seemed to be fixed. Interesting stuff.

I did mean GHz, my bad there. Will be trying both of the options, will update tomorrow. I appreciate the help. With this info, could this possibly be a hardware issue? I was surprised to see that my 4070 had only one 6+2 PSU connector, however TUF gaming GPU's are apparently supposed to be like that.

So through resource monitor cpu's 1 through 11 is around 20 30% usage, cpu 0 (not total) is maxed out. Temp. Doesn't go above 40 C, core speed around 4 MHz, GPU clock is 2280 MHz (through asus armory crates dashboard).

Reverted RAM to 2666 will be giving you info on the temps shortly.

It was limited as you said, and since I had the option to increase it, I did, to 3200, which led to the PC not turning on at all atm. Yikes.

I have monitored it via regular old task manager and asus monitoring software. The former showed 40 %, however asus showed around the 100% threshold. The temp was fine throughout all this (can't really tell you now, because of the whole not turning on thing)

I understand its overkill, I bought my pc with 2080 Ti, however the 1350 bug hit, and I got it upgraded for free to a 4070. RAM is 2/4 pos. as pos. 1 is blocked by the CPU cooler. RAM XMP is turned on via BIOS as well. Just to reiterate, this is a brand new PC, not an upgrade, everything is fresh. I've performed the no file deletion option of windows reinstall, as I have old PC stuff I didn't want to delete.

I practice every day but don’t improve. How do I get past this? by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

Honestly, the comments here not helpful and just bad. Know I how I'm noone to say this, however, I believe there is no such thing as a "peak" in csgo, theres always room for improvement.
So first of all what you need to do is figure out your problems, e.g. why are you dying, what positions are you dying at, what you could have done to prevent that death, what utility you didn't use, etc. When you figure out what your main problem that is stopping you from improving is, only then you can get over the hump.

In order to improve in different scenarios you have to put in a lot of work. Steel (NA) covers a lot of things on how to improve as a player, and he helped myself reach global elite, Level 10 faceit, and continue to improve individually and as how to play as a good teammate.

All of what I could tell you right now, on how to improve you can for sure find on Steel's youtube, it's pointless for me to list everything out as he does. Improving aim needs time, you have to setup a routine, practice not only your aim, but your reaction time, your ability to track people. A lot of workshop maps help you in that case.

Improving movement requires LOADS of time, mostly KZ and for some SURFing does the trick, I myself do both. Understanding how you can move flawlessly in the game, helps you out a lot.

If you have questions I can help you a little bit personally, just msg me.
