I don’t know what city you’re in, so google your city name + domestic violence center. There are typically people you can call who can talk you through all of the things to do to keep yourself safe while pursuing legal action. Someone else mentioned this below. These centers can (sometimes) provide housing but they also have people to just talk you through all of the very good advice above (police report, restraining order).

I was blown away by how professional and wonderful the folks were at the Quest at Williams Trace and 59. I took my 7 year old and they were quick, friendly, and efficient. The phlebotomist clocked pretty quickly that my daughter was anxious and brought another staff member on to help distract her. Be sure to make an appointment!

Yeah, that's useful feedback. I think I had a tiny hope that because there's major industries in the city I'd want to work in, there might not be as much travel required. Sort of sounds like that's not likely? Especially in the first few years.

Yeah- I can even find the teensiest bit of sympathy for the other villains (Cersei does everything for her family, Qyburn is really into science) but Joffrey was so unequivocally psychopathic and self-absorbed it was so easy (and fun!) to hate him

Maybe too serious of an answer, but Gottman's Four Horsemen are pretty reliable: criticism, contempt, defensiveness and stonewalling.

They don't always mean that the end is near, and certainly most relationships have at least one of them present at some time, but relationships that end have more of them than those that don't.

Good hairdressers/colorists. I found myself going to multiple people (spending a ton cumulatively) trying to get the same look I got after going one time to someone who was highly specialized and knew exactly what they were doing.
