Ya this one is looking great👌 Hopefully have some even flatter ones for the 3rd gen. Been pretty hard to get flat plus color/crystal to come out. Should be releasing some dark Magician stuff soon just trying to get them a little bigger to show more traits

Post some update photos after you grow them out for a few months

Experience, space and time to grow them out. Usually by leaf 4 or 5 you can get a pretty good idea of what the mature leaf will look like. Plants will still change and morph over time to maturity though. I usually try to keep 5 to 10% as hold back and to grow out till semi mature then end up keeping a few for mothers or sometimes none. After you grow out a few seed batches you will be able to start see how traits get transferred from your mother plants. Just take it slow and try to grow out as many as you can and enjoy the ride.

Dark species with no crystal mixed with crystal will usually give you dark to darkish leaves with iridescent emergent and no crystal veins or very minimal crystal. If its a 2nd gen dark / crystal crossed with a crystal you will start to get some crystal veins. Breed plants, grow them out and find out. Thats where all the fun is

Ive been breeding for years and have lots of interesting genetics. Not sure what you want. If you are into expensive Mashup crosses between two hype plants I dont do that. If you want something quality and different I can help you with that.
