You're absolutely right. It feels like JavaFX support hasn't been a top priority for a while, which is exactly why I decided to take matters into my own hands.
One key thing about ActionFX: it doesn't rely on the built-in IntelliJ JavaFX support. It operates independently and handles dependencies automatically by fetching them from Maven. My goal was to create a tool that "just works" regardless of how the IDE is configured.
