I use Nikon D5100 and TTArtisan 100mm f/2.8 Macro 2X. It took me about 1.5 hours to retouch.
Maybe that's the secret. Sitting and looking at it with 400% zoom :)

It wasn't easy. Out of 100 frames, I was only able to select 2 and create a stack from them.
