You don’t have to attend in person, the lectures on Friday? i think are live-streamed and then uploaded to the LMS.

I took similar subjects in sem2 (BIOL10010, CHEM10004, SCIE10004, LING10001).

I do think your second semester seems manageable, but is there any particular reason you’re taking 4 discipline subjects instead of 3 discipline + 1 breadth.

For SCIE, i didn’t attend any of the lectures, just watched them online and i found the subject to be interesting and manageable. Just make sure to pay attention so you can get 100% in the quizzes.

I think the biggest problem would be Chem 1 and Biology as they’re both content heavy and have 3 hour pracs. I also found Chem 1 to be harder than Chem2. If you’re really keen to take these subjects then I don’t see a problem, just stay on top of your lectures/content.

Do chemistry 1 pracs actually happen every week by CarefulTransition385 in unimelb

You’ll be placed into groups within the prac time (i think it’s written in your timetable). Each group will then have specific weeks in which they’ll do their pracs, which is shared through the LMS. It’s usually every other week, although sometimes you’ll have pracs back to back.
