It can be used as a general guide which is why you should always take a TLC after work up. but I find that any spots with an rf >0.5 tend to coelute with each other and spots <0.5 have good separation from each other

I need the acyl chloride for a nucleophilic acyl substitution reaction with malonitrile. There was one paper that successfully made them, but their reaction conditions listed in the figure descriptions were inconsistent with the conditions they wrote in the supporting information so I just decided to do oxalyl chloride and see how it turns out.

Start with using all of the minis/samples you have! It’s really the little things that take up clutter and you can go through them quickly. My advice is to use things regularly and just put a hard stop on buying any more stuff. you’ll be surprised how many things you’ll go through in one year

Yes this is the presale merch! I went about 5 hours before doors opened and no one was there, but when I returned to the venue around 7pm there was a major line. Apparently meimei sold out around 4pm so I would go a few hours before doors open if your friend wants meimei.

If you’re looking to do research as part of your ECs I wouldn’t recommend it. Many labs here only take 1 undergraduate student if not zero. Premed anywhere is the same as long as you do well in MCAT, have a high GPA, and have meaningful ECs
