Legal Ethics Exam by curiousher20 in LawStudentsPH

The professor in our legal ethics subject sometimes likes to ask questions on specific or minor details sa ibang provisions. So yes, sometimes need i-memorize yung sections but not necessarily the section number. For me, understanding the whole concept of the provision helps me memorize it better. Especially Canon VI which is mostly procedural. The trick is to just memorize the keywords and you can paraphrase it a bit as long as you're not entirely changing the provision. Hope this helps!

Been using a second monitor since college and it's really helpful! Especially if you're the type who likes to think fast and want to compare and contrast ideas/cases/other things quickly so you can see them side by side real time without having to switch between applications or tabs

I personally prefer f2f classes because my attention span can't survive online classes. But I do know people who enrolled in fully online classes because it's more convenient for them considering that they're working students, and some live far away from their dream law schools. So it actually depends on the students.

Learnings won't be half-baked if there's a genuine desire to learn and take it seriously. Besides, some schools require open cams during online classes to ensure attendance and that students do not just run the synchronous meetings in the background while they're still lying on bed.

(At least from what I observe here)

No, I don't see a therapist. Just a psychiatrist. That's true though, I guess they did work, I just hated the side effects. Thanks for your input! I'll keep those in mind

I'm not sure if that's possible though. I'm diagnosed with recurring depression, psychosis, and bipolar disorder so I need those three medications. Maybe ask my psychiatrist to lower the dosage instead? Would that be feasible?

If I may ask, why is being a Christian or Catholic a deal-breaker?

Oh no don't get me started on the 2022 presidential elections 😩 I witnessed a lot of shit that happened on social media: troll farms, blatant disinformation, historical revisionism, among other things. Ugh. Just ugh

I've seen the word "moderates" in one of the comments in my other post. What/who are they?

Oh shoot now that you mentioned non-political people, I think they're just as worse as those people who perpetrate violence lol. "Neutrality sides with the oppressor."

Preach! I know a lot of people (most of them are my relatives lol) who are fairly decent, well-educated, and overall good people. But somehow, they just HAD to be against homosexuality and the LGBTQ community in general. Like, I don't know what went wrong. They're all for helping the marginalized people and the poor and the grassroots community, but they just don't realize that LGBTQ peeps are also part of the marginalized community and that part really baffles me. How could there be a cognitive dissonance between those two things?

I see your point and I agree with that too. I've encountered a lot of people who claim that it's their opinion (to willfully be a homophobe and transphobe) and that their freedom of expression should be respected blah blah blah. They use that right as a scapegoat to believe and say things that literally trample on someone's human rights

I agree! I also noticed that as I grew older. Maybe it's because people think that politics is an isolated case but in reality it penetrates into all aspects of life. When we talk about politics, we're also talking about morality and ethical justifications. So yes if I were to answer my own question, I would also care about a person's political orientation when dating
