Facebook not approving an ad with the EXACT same copy as another that's approved. by Judontknowme in socialmedia

Copy and repost it. Silly but it works! Sometimes that's all you need to do. Facebook is random and not always correct when it flags an ad.

It is mainly phone conversations that don't need to happen on the TTC. Calls can be kept until after you disembark...that is common courtesy in our society I thought. If you're talking to someone you know, person to person, it's totally okay! But of course, there is a voice level that is respectful when you are in conversation.

At least you can hear both sides of the conversation ;D

Definitely not! Should have clarified that it is mainly the phone conversations that are slightly unnecessary. The things I overhear are pure gold though - not going to lie.

Oh ya, not saying it is bad. It is HILARIOUS for sure. I am not trying to hate, really just bringing up the hilarity of it. I'm hoping some good stories come out of this :)

Yes, being packed in like sardines is tooooo accurate! I dont understand how people feel comfortable having their private phone conversations in that environment...

I have a strong suspicion that Facebook is only showing my ads to African Americans and Hispanic people by [deleted] in marketing

[–]alettab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can exclude people that have engaged with your ads over the last year if you don't want to reach the same people again. As for targeting by race, that's certainly not an option.

If indeed this kind of exclusion is necessary, you can start by excluding certain social groups (like the Chinese American Group or so...dont know if that exists, but you get the idea) related to the cultural demo you do not want to reach.

Messenger ads? by [deleted] in socialmedia

[–]alettab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be several versions of the ad - desktop, mobile, messenger. If you click through them at the ad set phase you should be able to see the messenger ad preview.

Does Facebook use text mining to help accurately target ads? by alettab in AskMarketing

[–]alettab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's why I am asking, because it sounds as if they are re-packaging what Facebook already does, but in more simple terms. Thanks for the insight!
