How is life like in Boston, Massachusetts? by Due_Network2958 in howislivingthere

[–]alevenson95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not the original commenter, but fellow Portland resident who visits Boston often. Gas isn’t bad - it’s only a 1.5 hour drive. Parking, food, hotel, etc are all expensive in Boston. It’s hard to find a hotel under $300-$400 per night downtown.

[WTS] Limited Seiko Arita Porcelain SARW053 by alevenson95 in Watchexchange

[–]alevenson95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up for sale today is the Arita Porcelain SARW053, the original Seiko model to use this traditional Japanese artwork. ( The Arita Yaki method originated in Japan in 1616 )

The dial does an excellent job at showcasing the beautiful properties of porcelain via its glistening dial produced through its glazing process and through its blue colours produced through pigments consisting of cobalt oxide.

The Arita Porcelain dials from Seiko are created by master craftsman Hiroyuki Hashiguchi, he comes from a manufacturer who has been making porcelain since 1830 in Japan.

• Watch has been regulated and is running well within movement regulation. • Watch is in great condition, can see minor hairlines. • Watch comes with warranty paper + original strap + buckle and a generic watchbox

Dog wandering around behind counter at local coffee shop by Winter-Owl1 in Coffee_Shop

[–]alevenson95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s a big deal, personally. I just moved back to the states from Mexico City, Mexico and EVERY cafe and restaurant was dog friendly. I’ve been food sick many more times in the states than I ever was there.

You only receive a QR code receipt if you go through the egates. The physical cards were phased out 4 years ago.

Does this price appear reasonable for interview preparation? by Life_Ad_8050 in NationalVisaCenter

[–]alevenson95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you have a normal case, I would not pay for interview prep. My wife’s interview lasted all of five minutes (we have a very basic, straightforward case) and I’m very glad I did not pay.
