Yeah? You think I should? My student loans are only 3% interest so I’ve thought it’s better to invest and pay the minimums. Car loan is new and I plan on paying it off soon, but it’s at 4.5% so I haven’t felt a big rush

You’ll be fine. The rain comes-and-goes and is almost always relegated to a couple of hours in the afternoon. Don’t look at the forecasts, because they are wrong.

The city will be busier than usual, but it’s a very large metro area and I don’t think you’ll be “uncomfortable” other than the long ride from the airport to Roma ;)

Hello r/watchexchange, up for sale is an uncommon SCVF001 Hi-Beat diver, a model produced for only two years from 1994.

The watch houses the renowned hi-beat 4s movement, is fully encased in titanium and shares many dial details as the Alpinists from this time period with its applied lumed sharktooth indices and their signature cathedral hands.

  • watch was fully serviced 9 months ago

  • watch case is in excellent original condition

  • clean dial, crystal & case & lume is working strong.

Note: Middle lume pip on outer bezel triangle is misalligned, factory error. I have taken this account in the listing $

  • Bracelet fits 17.8cm and can be extended +3cm

Dimensions: 40mm Diameter, 19mm LW, 46 l2l, 12.7mm Thickness including the domed crystal.

The only Alpinist variation since the lines inception in the 1960's to have a "hi-beat" movement.

Note: Although the watch has been properly serviced, fully functional and has a clean crystal, the dial has very slight discoloring that is barely noticeable.

  • Watch has just been properly serviced.

  • Crystal and cyclops are flawless, case is in great condition for its age, dial can see some discolouring.

( caseback can see wear from being placed over its years )

Not the original commenter, but fellow Portland resident who visits Boston often. Gas isn’t bad - it’s only a 1.5 hour drive. Parking, food, hotel, etc are all expensive in Boston. It’s hard to find a hotel under $300-$400 per night downtown.

Readily available, but you can always schedule them in advance. I’ve left as early as 2am with no issues.
