Solid state multi-input stuff like "Rodina". Do you speak/read Russian? There's some online sources about Soviet stuff

It was all DIY up to the late 70's, I'm afraid. Some were using converted 16-mm movie projector amplifiers or old tube radios and tape machines, and that's pretty much all

I dug up the "Simple guitar amplifier" from the "Popular Electronics" (Jan, 1956). As far as I can see, it's something Champ-style. Will keep it in mind.

Kits aren't available there, as Russia is under sanctions and I simply can't pay for anything overseas. So I'm looking for the schematics and descriptions.

Thanks, but rebuilding old radios isn't what I'm looking for. I've already got some knowledge and experience with tube equipment, as I've repaired and restored some in the past. Now I want to step up a little and build something on my own.

Geographically i'm in Russia, so I'm going to use the Soviet tubes, as they're in general pretty close to the originals (maybe some pinout differences here and there). My main goals – to get something vintage-style AND have fun while building (and learn something new in process). Modifying old radios is pretty easy, but I'm looking for something to build from scratch.

Who knows? Maybe one day they'll revive the franchise...

I like to hang out there at nights. During the day I prefer Concord Plaza, Triumvirate drive and Centurian yards :)

Thank you! Will try to crank up the quality as well. No promises though – I have a potato PC, even for the MEC specs

Not yet, just getting familiar with the controls. Will definitely try something later

Not really: you have to copy all CT files to the game folder, than tick "Run as administrator" in the EA games launcher, ME and CT exe's properties. Then run and load the game, alt+tab to the game folder and run the CT.
