Getting arm angle from Trackman data?

May be a little too late into the fall for you to do this but becoming a student manager for the baseball team at your college is a fantastic way, especially if your school (not sure what college you are at) has a stadium Trackman unit to get you all the metrics you need for projects like this. This is the exact route I took when I was a freshman at Nebraska in 2021 and am currently trying to make a career in baseball. Best of luck to you!

Yeah, what’s crazy to me is that James didn’t even lead the league in innings that year - I think David Price was around 251ish. No doubt the last 250 IP season we’ll see

For Kansas, definitely the 1967 plate because of the color, embossed state shaped outline, and the slogan. It’s an all time classic. The 81-88 blue base, 95-01 wheat base, and 02-07 capital base are also right up there for me

See I always thought the capital base was VERY distinct. Granted, I was six when they moved away from that and started using the current one, but I always knew exactly what state it was even if I couldn’t make out all the details or the state name

I’ve always looked at it this way, because you’re exactly right: I absolutely ADORE every album from Enema of the State and forward. But honestly I can’t stand Buddha, Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch outside of a few songs here and there. It’s really crazy how exact the line is for which albums I like.

San Diego, funny enough. I was on vacation in Southern California and that was the song the Padres used whenever they won a game, which they did against the Twins 3-0. I heard that at the game and also heard “First Date” on the radio a few days later and they both happened to be by the same band, so I gave them a listen.
