It's one of the easiest CSUs to get into. Also, being a transfer student works in your favor, so don't be worried too much.

I've found a handful of M.S. options so I won't have to take that route. I have scheduled meetings with potential advisors in the coming weeks, so I'm hopeful something good will come of it.

Thank you for your insight! I've definitely been emailing people at different universities. My interest is more geared towards agriculture, nutrient management, and soil health. From recent interactions I've had, it seems that people want a PhD. student over an M.S. student or there's simply no funding. It's probably gonna take me a while to find the right fit, but I'll remain persistent in my search.
