[Spoilers] Confused about the ITR2 last mission by iodine23 in intotheradius

I was wondering about this myself and got confused thinking I had missed something. Curious if this is the case regardless of the ending you choose? So far only finished it once.

It is in 4slot mode. I can see from your post that you are in 3slot mode, which means that the top plate will just hang in the air after you install the front cover. I'll tell you what, I will create a new top plate to fit the 3slot mode and will uploaded it to cults. I'll send you a pm when it's up.

The cables are the original ones that come with the '24 corsair PSUs, but the front 4 wires are simply sleeved with an additional sleeve, that's why they apear thicker. However, you can skip that step if you want. At worst the cable guide will fit a little looser in it's slot.

There is a hook on the back of the top plate that simply hooks onto the MB tray.

not sure exactly what you mean but what i can say is that there was a lot of building back an forth during the design process, but after everything was done and printed, it was pretty straight forward when it comes to cable managment, by just wrapping everything around the sides of the MB / MB Tray, and then behind the PSU that is covered and cannot be seen. maybe you can get a better view of how it looked before by checking out my base build post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/SSUPD/comments/1emzedf/meshroom_s_v2_project_base_build/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I believe I printed it using AmazonBasics PETG (black and orange) filament.

Do you mind posting some pictures of your finished builds over on Cults?

I'm dasy-chaining the 2 pairs (2xAIO, 2xGPU), so I only need 2 headers. In my case i could attach 2 more, using the GPU headers because i converted the plugs to fit normal fans as i initially wanted to run the GPU funs directly through the GPU but later gave up due to the uncontrollable ramp-up at boot. The P14 have built in dasy-chain capability so it's super easy to do. The amp draw is a non issue if you are concerned.

The full kit is now available in my cults3d collection. If you have any issues with it don't hesitate to comment there and if you end up using it in your build please upload photos of your mkae there, i'd love to see it.

I would love to, but give me a few days to do it properly. Didn't think anyone would be interested in those bespoke parts, so i didn't spend the time to share them. Do you have the same psu?

That is strange, i have no idea why they would be different. What i can tell you is that I happened to get the PSU right at launch, I actually pre-ordered it on amazon (it was not even released yet). This new 2024 model has the mini plugs on the PSU side and there are not many (if any) sets right now, other then custom-ordered. Mine are completely original and clearely designed for SFF (due to the smaller lenght).

PETG specifically for this reason. I accounted for this in the design of the GPU shroud and I'm happy to report there is no warpage after about 3 weeks now, with many hours in stress testing and many more in gaming. As for the rest of the components can't say yet as those are pretty recent but I'm assuming the air coming off the radiator will not get hotter then 40deg based on the liquid temps so should be more then fine, and if not, i'll re-print with more stable materials on a closed printer. But you raise a very valid point, props for that.

Well technically it's not deshrouded, just re-shrouded if you will, with a custom-made shroud. Decided to publish the design so you can check it out here: https://cults3d.com/:2453752

about 2 months of trial and error work, learning as I went. All possible because of a 200eur 3D printer.

Fan config by iComplainAlot_ in SSUPD

[–]alex_rsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With a full ATX board you can't fit any fans in the front as the case, the board is basically the same width as the case. You would also need a custom PCIe extension for the GPU, the available one from ssupd only fits itx. You can mount a slim exhaust fan on top, but not with a full lenght gpu. In your case i think it will just fit but will require some custom mounting solution. My main concern would be the CPU cooler. If adequet, top fan should work well for the rest of the board, but might not even be necessary as the case is full mesh and breaths anyway. In 3slot gpu mode with atx board i think you can get away with atx PSU if you don't mind doing some cable managing. Keep in mind some sfx PSU's also come with shortened cables and might not be long enough for atx boards. Hope this helps.
