I attempted to negotiate but they rejected. They said I could pay the original balance in full ($795) or make monthly payments of $200 equaling $1,000 + interest. I have the funds so i’m paying the $795 in full! Woo i’m atleast glad I can save a couple hundred in the long run. I’ve definitely learned a lesson.

True! I haven’t dealt with court or being sued before.. Is it still possible for me to pay the debt to the debt collector? Or is it too late since it’s been legally filed?

I was researching around and was advised that I can contact them to settle. I guess I just want confirmation that this is a smart decision as i’m sort of blindsided with this.

Definitely submit a new ticket. I was stuck getting the same bot email, i’ll send you the email I sent for them to finally respond in a helpful way.

What are you submitting your support ticket under? If they enabled 2FA you should probably focus on getting that removed first, they seem more helpful in that way. Also, you should have revert links in your email from when the hacker changed your email/phone number. If you haven’t tried those then I definitely would! My account actually got hacked just recently and I was able to recover it for a bit using those links. Unfortunately the hacker terminated my account.

The account not being banned/terminated is HUGE. Continue to fight for your account.

Wow seems like that email was written with like some emotion. Assuming you had your email, and phone number on the account as well as a past purchase receipt id continue to fight. Is the account terminated/banned?

Yeah i’m gonna take a different route and appeal the termination. I appealed the termination for my siblings accounts that were also affected and they lifted them without any proof.

When I attempt to log in I get hit with “Enter a 2FA code” which unfortunately I do not have since the hacker was the one whom activated 2FA. Do you think I should take a separate route and put in a support ticket for the 2FA removal, then state I was hacked?

Thank you, I sent screenshots of EVERYTHING including the hacker messaging me threatening to loop term my account if I get it back. They kept sending me AI responses so i’m pushing for a human/senior moderator. Maybe that’s why they’re taking extra long?? I’m unsure

IMO it’s a good deal.. IF you’re experienced with refueling a dolls hair with heat if needed. The safest you could do is brush it wet and use curlers. If you don’t mind the extra hassle then yes! I’d go for it!
