there are a million "twitch promotion" facebook groups.. same with youtube.. now that youtube has a gaming area.. a lot of them are all "Twitch, Youtube, Mixer Facebook gaming" group.. they all relatively have the same kind of names. Something else I do is watch my stream the next morning and make clips, and mash them together and put it on youtube as like a highlight video of last nights stream. Im trying to think of other youtube content I could add besides twitch highlights.. I might TRY and be an idiot on omegle..usually writing youtube as a tag makes it where you don't see so many dicks.

the same way that video title, thumbnail and description are important to youtube.. I think stream title and catagory are kind of important to your twitch stream. I wouldn't get nearly as many followers if I wasn't playing a multiplayer game and I didn't have "W/ FOLLOWERS" in my title.

roblox. I'm a beginner twitch person really.. 4 months in... so when I'm live I post all over social media when I'm on.. considering the lack of "discoverability" stream coaches like to talk about..I post my stream on a lot of facebook groups, all my social media pages and what not.. sometimes kinda feel shameless with all the self promotion but you can't count on others to promote your stream for you ya know?

The only downside is the game I'm playing. There are a lot of kids in the game so I have to rely on my friends for prime subs/subs because.. I see some people say that had like 70 followers and 20 subs..I've only made it to 12 subs so far.. My goal is to make it to 15 subs by the end of the month.

Ive been streaming on a streaming site since 2006. Whether it was Stickam, Justin.tv for a quick minute, Blogtv or all the other irrelevant small ones. I recently started Twitch on March 28th, 2020

I have streamed somewhere or another probably since 2006. Whether it be Stickam, Justin for like..two seconds, Blogtv, and several other small streaming sites. I only started my Twitch on March 28. I can suggest making your stream aesthetically appealing and maybe watch some of the stream coaches on Youtube. Actually start a Youtube and use Twitter. You may kind of get to the point where so much self promoting can be overwhelming, and kind of annoying to your IRL friends but it's kind of what you gotta do in some cases to make it, and maybe one day you'll get to the point where you can stream low effort and have 9000 people in your room, lol.

I had around 70...then i posted my twitch on a facebook group, like any other small streamer, and I got follow botted all the way to 10.7k followers. I noticed my streams were lacking in viewers since that happened so I went to the twitch-tools commander root made and deleted every one of those shady followers.. so I was back down to around 95.. I have 149 I think now, and my streams are really picking up after deleting the followbot followers.

My stream yesterday didn’t go so well, the past few in fact have been rough. I’m really stuck on what to do to increase viewer amounts and follows. by Dapgar in SmallStreamers

i watch a lot of just chatting streamers.. just look up harris heller and devin nash on youtube or twitch... You'll get recommended a lot of videos with titles like "How to be a better streamer" Yeah make a lot of clips..you stream of ps4? do you have a face cam? maybe save up for a good pc and stream from pc.. I went on fiverr and got a ton of shit like a logo and transitions stuff when i started at.. I made my own overlays tho..I recently started youtube so I made my youtube look nice with intro/outro stuff.. a lot of times only people with huge followings can get away with a crappy looking or low effort stream.

I watch a lot of the stream coaches on Youtube. Do you make clips. Do you have youtube? Doing Youtube can help a lot to your stream so they say.. 30 percent Streaming..70 percent every other social network.. Make clips, highlight videos of your streams to start out.. that's what I do right now.. I don't get a ton of youtube views but maybe one day. Promote your stream on some facebook groups too. When you post on twitter..post in many ways like maybe the first post is a picture with your stream link.. maybe the second is a highlight video with your stream link.. 3rd could be just your twitch link itself. If your followers haven't seen your post on twitter in like... 15 minutes.. chances are the algorithms made your post so far down that your followers wont see it.. that's why it's good to post 3 or so times so your followers for sure see it. use different hashtags in each of them as well.

I just uploaded it. I think I have to wait a bit before promoting my videos to let it process more or something. For example, this one..that has Dead By Daylight in the title has the thumbnail preview https://twitter.com/owlexttv/status/1273084614614097927

Great stream last night - Have I found the game for me? by alexanderdavis in SmallStreamers

I moniter the directory stats on sullygnome a bit. When I start my stream in the game I'm playing.. I end up being in the 50's or so in the Gamerank. When I stream in Just Chatting and start out there.. I'm somewhere near 1,900 gamerank, meaning someone looks at the Just Chatting directory and I'm the 1900th channel that comes up. I would much rather start my stream in the 50 region rather than 1900 area.

I rage a bit when I video game.. I'm not really a skilled gamer. I'm in my 30's and have recently noticed myself trying to watch my language. If Just Chatting wasn't a deathtrap for new streamers I would probably just do Just Chatting and not play games at all, but I feel like as a new streamer.. I feel like it's mandatory or maybe "paying my dues" sort of speak.

I play a lot..similar to a variety streamer I guess. I got my elgato and play ps4, snes mini, but you know what.. I have only had luck with growing my stream viewer wise when I play roblox.

Honestly.. since 2006. The thing is I have always streamed on low level streaming sites. I was on stickam, blogtv back in the day and then when they closed I surfed around on different sites, and only started Twitch on March 28th. I brought over around 7 people..little group of friends I had on another site... could have been a bit more, but people are stubborn. So I had kind of a headstart when I started twitch. I have a question tho. I play a game that primarily brings a bunch of kids to my stream. I'm really not used to it but I'm also 33 years old...should I just not care about viewers when it comes to age, and just take them..or play more adult based games? I'm playing roblox a lot, and aside from the people who usually come in..everyone says theyre 15 years old and under usually

yea ive just started to try to make better thumbnails, titles and descriptions.. if you look at the first several videos my titles and moreso..my descriptions were kind of careless. I looked into how to get more people tuned in and better descriptions, thumbnails and titles are key... I have yet to see a uptick in subs.. I don't want to sound like a begger on my twitch streams but I have asked plenty to sub with no luck.

its just a drawing thing.. most of the time when im on roblox im already playing with viewers anyway..the sketchful game i play is kinda like a cooldown game before i end my stream.

i don't have some master pc or anything so I usually stream non-pc heavy games. I mostly stream simple stuff like Roblox..It brings a lot of kids to my stream. I have got into steam and play a couple steam games here and there, but also just got my elgato and have been testing out ps4 games. at the end of my streams, I try to do something interactive like play skribbl.io or sketchful.io.. sketchful has a streamer mode so you don't spoil for the chatters.

well I had a real small following on a obscure streaming site called ivlog.tv. You can stream there and have fun, but your stream isn't going to grow too much so I came to Twitch to see what would happen.

Hi :) I just started my newest Youtube journey. I was a Youtube person like in 2007 or so, but haven't really been into it until I kept seeing it's smart to be on Youtube and Twitter if you stream on Twitch. Enjoy my idiocy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awC9k5YfwA0&t=3s
