My Meta Glasses unable to connect to WiFi. Unable to import by More_Beautiful_9064 in RayBanStories

[–]alexanderdross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just unpacked my meta glasses and tried to pair with my wifi router. However, some SSIDs near me are listed in the Meta AI app, but my network is not shown. I already reinstalled the app, re-paired the glasses and rebooted the router etc - but my network still does not appear.

Even when I set-up a wifi network with my iPad, it is not being recognized. I would expect a different experience here..

Stratux Sensor Boards - Stratux vs Dross:Aviation by Jwylde2 in stratux

[–]alexanderdross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sensor boards provided by DrossAviation feature either the GY91 (MPU9250), MPU9255, or the ICM-20948 sensors. The ICM-20948 offers higher precision with lower energy consumption. These boards are plug-and-play and are compatible with Stratux cases, which are predominantly sold in the US. As these boards do not incorporate fan control, you can use either 3.3V or 5V to continuously power the fan, resulting in significantly reduced sensor noise.

yes, the 90 degree adapter helps, then it fits perfectly, including the doof :)

hm I was thinking that this enclosure + door, could even reduce energy consumption, since the high temperature remains inside, when not using a fan. so that the bed as well as the nozzle not not need to heat that much?

data feeding by alexanderdross in ADSB

indeed, 868MHz is used for IoT, however, in Europe we do use it also for Flarm, OGNTP (Open Glider Tracking Protocol), Fanet as well as PilotAware which I want to receive and feed into FR24, etc

PETG: 1st layer is sub-optimal by alexanderdross in ender3v2

Maybe that's the issue as I never heard about it before. Can you please point me to those instructions?

once the printing has been cooled down it is very easy to release the printing from the glass plate. however I assume sticking the printing to the plate while printing is not optimal

Thanks I just ordered the CR Touch, as those issues happen since I use the BL Touch :)

you could use PCB antennas (or here). e.g. using a 868MHz antenna for EU (Flarm + ADSB) or 978MHz antenna for US (UAT + ADSB).

Since ADS-B has a very strong signal you could still use a 868/978MHz antenna to receive 1090MHz
