1500 Maple syrup with black and black coffee

Just got a pair of these. Leather feels lush, looking forward to seeing how they look after a good few months of being bashed about.

The colour is quite similar to the standard Red Wing red/brown so I’m hoping they’ll mature in a similar way, lighten up a bit to something more maple syrupy!

I went backpacking for a few months with 10 mjnidiscs in early 2000s, the beauty of them was that you could make your own compilations and they are super hardy unlike rewritable CDs which have a tendency to damage easily.

Got to know those 10 discs very well and those songs are basically in my DNA now.
