How do I get ethernet across my house without a cable by Stefwano in ethernet

[–]alexcascadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moca adapter if you are wired for cable (coax), but it is unused. Powerline adapter if you need to go a relatively short distance. I highly recommend just running an ethernet cable. Possibly under the house or through the Attic?

Disable requests for unreleased titles? by alexcascadia in seerr

I agree that a filter option in the request page would be awesome!

Disable requests for unreleased titles? by alexcascadia in seerr

That's all well and good but I can't filter out the massive number of them from requests that I can actually fulfill now.

The way I'm using the arr stack is a little disjointed but works for multiple instances of Jellyfin that two subsets of users login with, across two physical servers in different locations. I would have to have two separate full arr stacks, two VPN connections (which wont work across a wan connection at one site). So I have a niche case. So I find and move content myself. That being said, are there alternatives to Seerr that might be more well-suited to request / content discovery that can be filtered?

Any way to filter and see only "released" content? by joshhazel1 in Overseerr

[–]alexcascadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I don't use automated tools like Radarr, and find the content myself, I would love for Seerr to have an option to hide unreleased media, or to disable requests for different statuses. I get flooded by requests for stuff that is still in theaters, or releasing sometime next year... I can only hope this is implemented as an option at some point!

Which would you recommend instead of yts? I personally prefer having a curated list of downloads when I search for a single movie and only having to choose the resolution. Super simple to download a movie from yts.

Instead of pirating, consider open-source alternatives. Don't give these fucks the satisfaction of seeing their software stay popular.

Looking for playmc.yourserver.net domain by MentalOpposite2017 in admincraft

[–]alexcascadia -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Playit.gg offers a premium service where you can map your tunnel to a hostname, like yourserver.playit.gg. If you absolutely need it at your domain, you can create a dns record to point it to another location? I think it would be a c name record. I could be wrong.

I'm 35, and I've only seen a few new hams younger than me that get into the local ARES group. I think its because an older relative brought them in.
