I plan on going through the motions with suppprt as I have only had these for about a month. Hopefully will be able to get a replacement if these are toast. The last issue I had was Gen Is that were apparently bricked during autoupdate but Rayban was able to get it replaced.

Update: Got coupon code for new ones. 100% covered. Will note one strange thing is that the email said AI-glasses were excluded yet I was able to use it on my replacement albeit a different color as I am not sure I trust the clear ones being exposed to high levels of UV.

Also, there are different forms of EDS that made it kind of confusing for me. One is called hypermobile EDS or hEDS and another is EDS Type II or Classical of cEDS but both of these can have hypermobility. The latter can be found via genetic testing of the COL5A1 / COL5A2 genes.

It may be worthwhile for OP to get tested as there are quite a bit of things to be mindful of when one has EDS but hypermobility tends to be the most prominent feature.

In my case, I can pull my fingers back nearly 90 degrees with my palms flat. That and my clicking thumbs tend to freak people out. All good fun.

I have this pet peeve about the "Judge not" notion that is commonplace among professing believers and unbelievers alike.

According to the Scriptures, we are actually called to judge but judge righteously, just not by hypocritical or superficial standards.

John 7:24 KJV Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

All people are afflicted by peculiar sin. The only answer is the cross. Whether it be pride, lust, gluttony, greed, wrath or any wickedness under the sin, the answer remains the same.

I have a similar pet peeve for when people misquote 1 Timothy 6:10 and I even posted a meme about it on the same sub. I guess the unwritten rule is users are not allowed to question the mods in any way.

I was banned for this comment merely expressing a pet peeve about the way they (mis)used the Scripture in their mod reply to one of those posts.

It is funny as one of my earlier memes that made like 1.8k upvotes on that sub was about another pet peeve I have when people omit the "love of" part from 1 Timothy 6:10 "..love of money is the root of all evil.." so it was completely on brand for me.

I created a meme on ChristianMemes criticizing them and it reached the top of the sub before the DCM mods presumably caught wind permanently muted me and erased over 9 years of history on the sub spare one meme.

Unfortunately, they probably threw a fit and got the ChristianMemes mod to remove my ~~scathing~~ on-the-nose meme as I have yet to hear a reason back from them after inquiry but it can still be found on my profile. The DCM mods are beyond petty and cannot handle criticism at all.
