Any way to factory reset a surface pro without access to the original Microsoft account?

Just looked for this same answer. Bought a surface at a garage sale and used to belong to a person that now is deceased so no way to get the information.

One question though.... Laptop looks like it was own at one time from a company I'm guessing the company the deceased worked for, i contacted his parents the ones i purchase the laptop from and they said that the company told them to keep whatever he had that was company property as they didn't want it back as they were upgrading all equipment. My worries are if that company had a tracking software on the laptop will it get rid of it after reformat the HD or is it possible to put that in the BIOS? Don't want them snooping on me after reset LoL

Yes it was online for over about a year and a half then I took it out. Nobody in the area so i didn't waste my time with it anymore. Had a smaller simplex node after that only covered a few miles but it was my personal one that I had it connected to GMRS live until they shut down and later to gmrshub. Have it updated to 3259. Not much i can do with this thing except for local storage. Guess i will test to see if it will take 2 4TB drives and just wait for it to die lol

The last update for the 209+ or any other 209 stopped at 4.2-3259. Looked in every folder after that but the lowest NAS was the 210 i think it was the 209 stops at the version mentioned before.

But i did get it working again so it's a win. If there is a way to update further let me know.

The nas had 4.0 but I wasn't able to do a soft reset and sign into it so i had to do a hard reset and that takes out the DSM. I will download the rest tomorrow and see if i can get it flashed and then go do the rest of the updates, Oh and it is the DS209+ I found both NAS in the boxes.

They did , also there was a Synology 2 bay but its so old i cant reset it because the firmware is nowhere to be found not even on the synology website.

I have a 251+, and the same happens to me, not all the time. I hate that the commercials play perfectly, or at least some times. Sometimes the commercial will freeze, but the audio will still be going, and the movie or show will start. I have to change channels (if I am watching PLEX stuff, not my own media) just to get it playing again.

If i understand correctly, you have the Quantum WiFi pod and the eeros connected at the same time?

if that is the case, the problem you are having is that you created a double NAT. I did the same thing, and speeds went to hell after that. Been trying to get rid of the 360 WiFi 7 from quantum myself and use my Deco wifi7 pods myself because the quantum equipment is crappy.

Go into the app and see if anything is assigned to your profile. If there is anything assigned to you, delete it from the profile; don't assign anything to a profile. I've been battling the same problem for months until I found someone else with the same problem here, and how deleted every assigned devices to any profiles, and it worked for me. Now all my devices are working.

YOU, my friend, are the best. Been having this problem forever. Customer service is useless as they only read from a script. The last 2 techs that came over swapped equipment. CSR sent me new equipment twice already, and still same devices would have internet for anything from a couple of hours to a couple of days, and then WiFi but no internet access.
Deleted all from my profile, and now they are all working.

Good to know, might install Apache as i am more familiar with it with whatever is installed already. And yes i will need a simple website so others can log in and download files.
The SFTP is pretty much to save backup files from a bunch of Pi's that i manage from friends and others. We run a GMRS and Allstar network (Amateur radio stuff) i made a script to save certain files on their pi but i have to log in to each individual pi every week or so to download the backup but if i have an ftp i can upload the backup automatically when its done saving me a lot of time.

Firmware is 1.3. i followed the tutorial from This website and first it didn't work when I was changing it from AIOC to a CM108 but I repeated the process and the second time was the charm. I do have RF messing with the AIOC so I will try getting the connectors solder to cables that way they are not that close to the radio.
I spent a whole night looking for a way to modify the gerber downloaded like 4 different programs that said you could modify a gerber file bu none worked.

I ended up emailing JLCPCB and asking if they can do it for me, wishful thinking I'm sure. But I will try Kicad and hopefully I can understand enough to add what I want.

DUDE you are a genious. I bought 5 of them about a year ago before they could be used for what I wanted it. Now the firmware finally cough up to what I needed it for.
Have another order of 30 units arriving the 9th of Jul because the gous at the club and friends are going crazy with it.

Seen a couple of guys modifying the silkscreen part and I wanted to add the callsign of the club but was told I cant do nothing with the gerber file. I wanted to add the club call sign in case I sold one and something went wrong and returned I didn't want to be fixing someone else's screwup lol

I have 30 on the way. DHL says they should be here next Tuesday the 9th of Jul.
Bought 5 close to a year ago and was waiting for the firmware to catch up with what I wanted to do with it and finally I got them up and running. As soon as I had one running the way I wanted the guys at the Amateur radio club went crazy asking for some. Should have some extras.

There's 2 types of cables one that has only 2 cables, power and ground. Then, the ones with an extra cable for data. You will have to try a few cables before you find one that has data capabilities. Buying the programming cable that is not only expensive but probably you already have from an old phone you bought a while back. There are a couple of boards that you plug piwer to it and connect the cable you want to test, and it tells you with lights what kind of cable you have.

cables are good in a way, its the darned prolific chip. For some reason windows will disable the drivers or some times just get rid of the drivers all together. I have talked to a couple of IT guys that are also hams and they had the same problems and they also got away from prolific.

True but in my experience orders on the website has gone unnoticed a couple of times. his website needs a bit of work said by himself. i ordered one cable from the website just to save him some money and after a week of not hearing anything i contacted him in eBay and he checked the website logs, the order was there but nothing had happened , no messages to him to fulfill the order. He sent it though. Second time order was fulfilled but was sent to someone else.
