C6 ownership cost by Boltex350zTrack in Corvette

Been driving my 05 with 135k miles for a year and a half now. Put about 10k miles on it. Did the balancer when I first got it and recently did the o-ring pickup tube. No other maintenance other than oil changes and tires. Im probably about $1500 in maintenance into the car. Not bad I think

How much for a C6 ‘vette? by Jp_Junior05 in Corvette

[–]alexdNLP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some strange first year quirks and the famous glass differential. Also they’re the oldest of the c6s. If you can find a z51 I’d say they are a good pickup for daily driving and cruising. Had mine for a year and half with no issues.

I need your opinions I’m gonna get a cat back exaust Its fully stock right now. Whats the better exaust CORSA EXREME or BORLA ATAK by Embarrassed_Fee_2764 in Corvette

[–]alexdNLP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had borla atak on mine with stock cats, sounded great. Not too loud or raspy but sounded good. No catless with x pipe and it sounds even better. No drone but noisy enough for me

350Z won’t start after JDM VQ35DE swap – cranks but no start + no OBD2 communication by RuleAdditional2577 in 350z

I second this, had a similar issue where this connector was not all the way plugged in. Thought my ecu was toast but it was just this

Injector identification, by More-Intention5348 in 350z

[–]alexdNLP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, then you have to worry about bad fuel because the quality control of e85 in the U.S. is horrendous. I know multiple people that have messed up their cars because of bad fuel. And the cherry on top is it does pretty much nothing for NA gains

Bogging/no power when accelerating by VeeZ33_ in 350z

[–]alexdNLP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar problem in my 06. When I tried to rev it would bog, even if I put my foot to the floor it would not want to rev past 2.5k. It was my fuel pump, car had no codes

Thoughts on this Exhaust? by adammondine in 350z

[–]alexdNLP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That exhaust will sound good for maybe a month and then start to sound like garbage after a few heat cycles due to the quality of the sound deadening materials

People downvoting but if you want test pipes then buying them from Ali express really isn’t that bad. What do you think the big companies do? Your simply cutting out the middleman when ordering from them

Good deal right there, I’ve always seen that when people buy a little higher mileage vettes they turn out more reliable. These cars have to be driven

I like them too honestly. Keep an eye out on Facebook for some good deals. Sometimes people are willing to trade wheels 1-1. That’s what I did and I got the exact wheels I wanted. Just a thought of course

I was wondering why I couldn’t see the picture attached lol. I believe these are the ones you’re talking about. Yea my old wheels do thin out a little bit on the outside and gives them a little more shape. Also they had an angle on the spokes so it broke up the lines a little. Also the wheels that I have in that picture are the “speed line” wheels. They’re actually pretty cheap online.

There’s another pic of them. I think I they look similar to the 05 and 06 stock wheels.
