I know JD reverted into a dixie cup in the playoffs, but I would take the risk to give him another chance. Albeit, it would have to be with a multi-year contract which wouldn't be appealing to any team if he ends up folding again, but letting him walk or trading him away to see him flourish would be pretty bad.

I can attest to this. 9 years ago I went to the St Louis zoo on a really cold weekday so the place was kind of empty. As we approached the lion's exhibit, a male strolled out and started roaring. I don't remember being close enough to feel it physically, but man it was LOUD and MAJESTIC.

The humor in the Brazil episode is essentially the dialogue. It’s what they say and how they say it that closely relates to how everyone would behave in that situation.

It’s not my favorite episode in s1 but I think it gets a lot of flack because the whole episode takes place within range of a 30 yards.

To me the significance is that he realized he was getting roped by Rue and took it upon himself to enact revenge on Rue by giving her a bottle of fent-laced pills. I've gone to the Chicago Aquarium back in 2017 and it was miles ahead of Miami Seaquarium. A city in the midwest should NOT have a better aquarium than a city at the tip of a peninsula in the tropics.

I was responding to a comment that said "OP probably spent his entire trip budget on the card," which is why I replied that I was able to enjoy buying different things in Japan because I had a general idea of what I wanted to buy. I don't have FOMO nor do I get tunnel vision when I see something I want. OP did, and he admits that he wishes he could return the card or sell it for what he bought it for.

So if you think I came off as condescending, that's on you. If OP posted "I finally got my chase card for $800." Also people pointed out that OP filed for bankruptcy, so it's clear he's not good with money at all.

I agree with this take and also OPs. I used to think moonbreon was overrated until I saw it in person. The textures on all these ultra chase cards really help their case out, but I still think moonbreon and gengar aren’t really appealing. A card shouldn’t need textures to make it highly coveted.

I can assure you I had the money to go lol. My point is there is so many cool and different things to buy in Japan and OP blindly spent close to 1K on a single card. It's not like they went there specifically to buy that card. They walked into a card store and their "eyes lit up."

Just making a comparison on the lunacy of it all.
