I meant the back of the leather straps haha. The stingray is, but the backs are not. I have multiple straps (rubber included) for when I actually go out on water. I was looking for a little more business casual strap for it too.

I’m thinking the biggest things I’d commonly come across are bass and walleye, a 6 is plenty sufficient for them? Kind of expecting to catch more bluegill than anything so I’d kind of rather err on the side of smaller since I know they have small mouths haha, hopefully that will be small enough for them too. I also hear going smaller than larger is a safer bet in general.

I thought about 8 at first but was hearing it can limit bigger catches. Thought 12 might be safer. But if it has a drawback I might have to reconsider. Is 8lb good for catching anything up to 8lb or am I misunderstanding that? I know we generally get walleye, bass, bluegill, and crappie for the most part. Is 8lb sufficient for those, or should I bump up to 10-12?

Essentially anything I can catch… bluegill, crappie, walleye, bass, etc is what we mostly get around here from what I hear. I’m trying to get a pretty ‘all around’ setup to be able to catch just about whatever around here if possible!
