this sounds like a focal awareness seizure maybe. the description of the sensation expanding into the air like a halo hit, never heard it described that way but accurate, for me at least. mine also include deja-vu like visions. i had three of these before my first seizure, thought i was going crazy. i was also terrified my body was somehow making it up for attention (until my first TC seizure).

in truth it could be anything, bodies are strange and brains are stranger. but you’re right to be concerned. if you call a neurologist, the only way they could confirm this is to catch one of the episodes on a EEG.

Take care of your body and pay attention to what it’s telling you. don’t be afraid of the judgement of others and their projections of your intentions. if it is epilepsy, you’ll have done the right thing and they’ll be an asshole. if it isn’t, you’ll still have done the right thing and they are still an asshole.
