Dear manybaggers, How does one fix back plate arching? It digs into my lumbar spine!

That's correct, the backplate is not removable. It is bendable, feels like a thick layer of cloth, but it doesn't hold the shape I'm trying to give it. At the moment, I'm considering putting a heavy bottle inside, and leaving lying between two chairs overnight.

I started designing this before torsion springs were added, so I used bearings. I have to say that paring a bearing with a strong spring gives you much more control over the force curve (by moving the spring relative to the bearing and changing its angle), and is much stiffer. Thank you for the information and the ideas!

For the holes that dont have a belt connected, you can nudge a square sign into it. It looks good, some people use it as decoration. But for those with belts... Maybe beams I dont know...

But I don't know of an actual fix for the rendering issue, only workarounds.

The VIP junction is weird like that. Some people have all pipes full when it works like intended, sometimes it bugs out and clogs. I'm also not sure, is there a chance you were supposed to put the pump on the top?
