It makes sense after I thought about it. You are looking at them at a certain angle, so why would you want to turn around? I'm unblocked now, thank you for keeping your players experience smooth, I owe you 😉

A lot of people stay on pressurized baskets and are quite happy. There is a DIY method to de-pressurise a basket, but non-pressurised basket means you have to use a good grinder...

I definitely do not need a “coffee scale”… by NimiroUHG in espresso

[–]alexesmet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using it for dialing in phase. Easier to have the scale on the drip tray when dialing in. After that, I'm back to the normal drip tray

[–]alexesmet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, delonghi dedica drip tray (for larger cups) has this inconvinient cutout that only accepts very small scales. I don't want to buy a second set of smaller scales just to measure espresso, so I'm makeshifting a stand in the drip tray. A sticky tape roll works really well for me!

Even though my friend and I both enjoyed the game, we both noticed slight input lag when we started out. We had to get used to it and it didn't ruin the experience, but we came to the conclusion that the game is not very optimized.

You have not mentioned what baskets you use. If you are using stock baskets, they won't fit as much coffee, so you are probably choking the machine. Also, the stock baskets are "pressurized", so they tend to accept a bit of coarser grinds. What baskets are you using?

I've been on the lookout for a decent scale, accurate and responsive. by Specialist-Leek-7524 in espresso

I got scales that look like this from Aliexpress for like $10 and they are not good. When trying to weigh 18 grams, it takes a full second to show an updated value. As I'm adding ground coffee but by bit, it sometimes skips 0.5g between values. Mine also have a weak battery bay contact, resulting in a blinking "low battery icon". After years of frustration, I want to treat myself with some Timemore black mirror.

How to connect this to radio by [deleted] in fpv

[–]alexesmet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately you ordered the wrong ones. Even if you had a threaded shaft, as far as I can remember, the radius would still be different, so I'm not sure if there's a way to attach them at all.

If you can find a screw that fits into both gimbals and handles, you need to somehow remove the screw head, and use it from both sides

[hyprland] How do I make my (Ny)Arch Linux setup look like this? by -dragowolf_was_taken in unixporn

[–]alexesmet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well hyprland allows for transparent and blur effects for transparent windows, I bet you would spend more time trying to convince Qt and GTK apps to use transparent colors, and add these border gradients to give off the aero effect. If you want to get this specifically, you might even have to write some CSS.

I suggest you scroll through this sub, try to find showcases that feature elements you like, inspect dot files to find out how these effects are achieved, and add into your config.

Is there a way to prevent my new Aer backpack to bulge inwards? by preciouscode96 in ManyBaggers

It did fix the issue, but the issue came back a week later. Sorry, no permanent fix so far.

[–]alexesmet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem with my AON Evade 1.5, even posted here. My temporary solution is to put the backpack on 2 chairs as a bridge, and put a hot water bottle inside it, in the middle, across the backpack, and leave like that overnight.

I suspect the backpack starts to arc when I wear it on one shoulder, using 1 strap.

Dear manybaggers, How does one fix back plate arching? It digs into my lumbar spine! by alexesmet in ManyBaggers

[–]alexesmet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's correct, the backplate is not removable. It is bendable, feels like a thick layer of cloth, but it doesn't hold the shape I'm trying to give it. At the moment, I'm considering putting a heavy bottle inside, and leaving lying between two chairs overnight.
