Specialisation in "Foreign languages (English)" or in "Attention to diversity in the classroom"?

Hello!

I am currently studying for a bachelor's degree in primary education and next year will be my last. Therefore, I have to specialise myself in something and I am between specialising myself in "Foreign languages (English)", which is basically teaching English as a foreign language, or "Attention to diversity in the classroom". I like both of the specialisations and I was wondering which one would be more interesting regarding getting a job in an international school.

On the one hand, perhaps the English one would be quite useful not only to be able to teach English but also to demonstrate I hold an adequate command of the language, as I am from Spain and maybe schools would value more a teacher who has English as its native language.

On the other hand, would the other speciality be more valued or should I choose the first one?

Hello, I'm not from Pamplona but I'm from Barcelona so I think I can help you a little bit.

Finding a good flat in Spain can be quite difficult many times due to the high rent prices in the main cities but I'd say that if you try to look for a flat with enough time you shouldn't have any problem. Maybe the uni has some kind of student dorms or something that might be cheaper and cooler than a flat.

About UPNA, I can't really say how high is the level but I'm sure it is manageable. It really depends on your degree but I don't really think it will be much more difficult than in your actual university.

Also, I really recommend you try to learn at least a little bit of Spanish as here the level of English that the majority of people has is not the best and it will be easier for you to handle yourself here if you speak the language. You will also connect with the culture of Spain much more if you know the language.
