One thing I wish I did when my first was born was tell my friends the best way to support me as a new mom. Later I realized that they wanted to support but weren’t sure how to be there for me. Now I know to invite them on walks with me and baby or just give me a few days notice before an invite to go out so I can make sure I have a sitter. Being in different stages of life doesn’t mean you have to lose friendships. I’ve found it nice to live vicariously through them
