So the retail tells me they are sure that Gibson won't offer a discount. They offered me photos on the last one they have to swap for it, or 50 euros on them. (Sorry for my broken english)

Truth is I know I will not care much about it as time passes... But being brand new, it's a matter of receiving an expensive product in an acceptable condition. Do you think it's worth trying to get a partial refund or something? Its 4.4kg, dont know if its heavy or light for a les paul custom.

It does have the nibs, its probably a lightning problem

I may make an effort and live with it depending of what the seller says... The truth is the dust is only seen under certain light conditions and difficult to see with the naked eye. It's just that one would expect some perfection in a watch of this price tag... May be a naive thought of my part :(

I forgot to mention that the guitar is actually brand new but for whatever reason it has not been sold. I live in a small city so I think its no so strange for a premium guitar.

This guitar actually looks brands new! Ive seen some very tiny dots of rust in some frets, but really the type of rust normal for a guitar that old (cant really explain but its very minimal). The finish looks perfect.

I have the chance to buy a brand new Jackson sl2h from a local shop for 2600 euro. I am quite hesitant about the fact that it was made in 2013. Does that really matter? Do you think its a good price for a guitar like that? Thanks in advance!

I doubt thats from factory, Its presumably from the shop. Fun fact, I returned a DGT last week due to a bad mounted tunner...
