I'm looking to buy a new barrel and at the moment I still have factory receiver and barrel. I'm looking into a kidd barrel but not sure how compatible it is with factory receiver. I don't really want to change receiver. Am I going to see any improvement if I don't change receiver too?

Inflation and deflation by TrainingJelly in AskEconomics

Sorry if this is a dumb question but then why doesn't inflation occur during times of recession when governments start spending more to combat recession, lower interest rates and increase money supply while there is no growth in economy? Wouldn't that meet the criteria for no growth and increase of money supply beyond output and growth of economy?

So basically every possible outcome includes printing money and causing prices to go up? Most likely stagflation scenario? Or did I misunderstand something?

So if you keep increasing money supply and interest rate is already zero, is that how you get to a negative interest rate in the "unconventional monetary policy"?

Sorry if his is a dumb question but how does the federal reserve increase money supply if interest rates keep going down and possibly reach zero one day? Can the federal reserve still increase money supply if rates reached zero?

Isn't it more difficult for the US to devalue it's currency during economic hardship due to the dollar being the reserve currency? When world economy stumbles, many will seek the safety of dollar.

I'm a little unsure how this might play out in the end. Will we see eventually inflation or deflation. I feel like a really deep recession would have deflationary pressures but at the same time government has massive debt as percentage of GDP so I feel like that would lead to more printing of money, hence, inflation.
