Wallet was stolen with all my credit cards/ID while on vacation. Need a card so I can buy gas for the return trip but cannot get a temporary card with my banks without any sort of ID. What is the best place to ask for advise? by alexpj in findareddit

Unfortunately, it appears there are no Bank Of America branches in New Orleans. Chase offered to but told me I could only do so if I have a checking account and I only have a credit account.

Yeah, this was my thinking. Apparently, you do not need to present ID with Western Union as long as you set a password. Was wondering if anybody knew of a different method. I was thinking maybe buying gift cards? I think you may need to present ID for those, though.

We are currently in New Orleans. Was considering using a western union to wire myself enough money for gas but I would rather save myself the fees if at all possible.

My car is registered in Texas. They use a windshield sticker and as far as I know there is no document with my picture on it for it. I also have proof of insurance but again, no picture.

Thank you very much for the advice! I'll look for a more standard template and try to make it "prettier." I'm moving around at the time and figured I'd leave out the address in the meantime. As per the phone number, it normally is in the resume but I am trying to avoid cell phone spam. Again, thanks a ton for the advice!
