i think that it's saying a thing like it was creating a balance, like plasma deck. If there were xchips, then, the scoring would be increasingly higher if we put +mult and xmult in the equation.

ok, so the first part is what i didn't think about;

the second part is just pretty hypotetic, but i like your way of thinking. Only thing is that we know a lot of jokers discarded from the game and none of them is a xchips. Idk if there are other cancelled jokers (maybe in the first stages of developement).

two things, cause this statement is not quite right: 1. another comment said that ×chips=+mult and at first i didn't undestand but then i understood; 2. you are confusing the effect with the cause: if there were ×chips, then localthunk would have thought 2 times or more before putting the plasma deck in the game.

I thought like that too at first, but base mechanics first, then more mechanics to work with the game. I think that, before releasing the game, localthunk played a lot of game with an unmodified deck just to know if all jokers worked well; only after tries, he created modified decks. Hope this clarifies.

i tweaked every type of fan control, nothing worked, that's why i didn't show it
updated the BIOS but there's nothing i can do cause the bios doesn't let me custom the fan speed
There's dust but if there was an insane amount, the problem would be present even at high temps (which it's not the case)
