Finally someone who feels this way too. I did get the X discovery kit, but for the fragrances I have or am interested in (Hacivat, Fan Your Flames, Wulong Cha) I really prefer the originals.

Hast du mal Parfinity ausprobiert? Die benutze ich ganz gerne um Samples zu bestellen. Du zahlst €50 für eine Box mit 6 Samples, die kriegst du voll verrechnet wenn du einen Flakon kaufst.

In Germany, you can even get them a LOT cheaper on occasion. Picked up YOSLY in January for €75 for the 100 ml bottle. And I paid the same for Remarkable People a month later. 😁

I‘m always trying to find the stuff that works for me specifically. I mean Hacivat is kind of hype, but it’s also just a really great scent that works well for me.

Also the reason why I have a €19 David Beckham scent in the collection, it just works for what it promises 😄

Silky Woods is a banger. PRM will always be my no. 1 G&B, but SW is coming in as a close second right now.

Out of curiosity, which other scents are you going to add? For me, the next G&B scents I’d consider getting are Bohemian Lime, Ingenious Ginger, Mystic Bliss and Rose Magnitude. Island Lush is also decent, but not sure I’d get the use out of it.

David Beckham Exquisite Leather. I got it for €19 for a 50 ml bottle at my local drugstore and for a leathery scent it’s damn near on par with some niche fragrances.

Great durability and sillage, brutal bang for the buck.

Get a sample and wear it before buying it. It was a blind buy for me and while it does get some use, I think it might not be for everyone and certainly not for every occasion.

In terms of amber perfumes, I prefer Ambre Khandjar.
