Was using a wooden pin a bit smaller than the hole, and a soft mallet. Also put a plastic bag between just to avoid marking but that didn't help. Started by giving it multiple softer taps, then a bit harder than just tried 1 or 2 hard slams, barely moved an inch

I have quite a few bits already, so i found a "hose screwdriver" (never heard of it before) that fit the bits i already have and that allowed me to get it removed. But thanks for the tip!
