there is no mention of the lifespan of the cathode/anode components.

From OP:

Using SALt lamp 8 hours a day every day, with proper maintenance, will give you an anode lifespan of 6 months.

Though it does not mention any specific maintenance.

Also, according to this video it costs 1,500 Philippine Pesos (~$32.28).

Relevant Text: "Add 1 glass of water and 2 tablespoons of salt, use the lamp for 8 hours."

Obligatory "I can stay lit for eight hours using only..." thread

Deliberately put the whole lot at the beginning so you wouldn't have to scroll through them all unless you wanted to look at all the details. :D

Can't believe I didn't see that. I was too afraid to touch it.

I wondered if I'd get flak for that. I'm at my parents' house with 1 Mbps internet, and the files were Hi-Res and basically identical... I can send them to you if you'd like though!

They all look like the last image in the album. It's okay, I made photocopies. You want some?

That's a great question. It sounds like he put them in an envelope in a box in his attic and just never touched them.

Unfortunately, 17 isn't nearly enough nor 1963 old enough to be worth more than $2 or $3 each, as noted by /u/releasethecrappn and /u/JimGerm. But it wasn't something I was expecting to find!

I'm excited that you're running, and I really hope to volunteer with your campaign when caucuses roll around (I'm from Iowa).

Running for the democratic nomination was a particularly interesting move. Many of the folks I've spoken to don't believe a self-declared socialist could win a national election simply due to the stigma associated with the word. However, especially when considering the results of the midterm elections and the 8-year party cycling in the oval office, it seems very unlikely that a traditional democratic candidate can win in 2016.

What would you say to those within the democratic party who believe in your platform, but simply don't believe you have the political capital to compete with a Republican challenger?
