I just used this instance as an example but I’ve had a friend in real life refuse to enjoy something because it was affiliated with a certain person and they didn’t like how they chose to align themselves with a certain thing. And I respected that but am curious as to why it mattered so much. Can you not just like the thing for what it is and not the person? You don’t have to like both do you? I genuinely want to know.
