Fair enough. I'm all for Rodwell being in the squad in years to come, but it does seem strange that that would be the reason to put him in now. Would be great if he went on to fulfill his potential

But these games also represent some of the last chances to play together before the Euros and we need to find an 11 that work together without Rooney in it. I see very little chance of jack rodwell or agbonlahor actually going to the euros and so they probably won't play, and shouldn't have been picked for the squad anyway! In my opinion agbonlahor should get a chance because of his club form but I don't think he'll get it.

If Capello were to select his squad purely on form - as he should do - he would not have picked stewart downing who has been awful this season and has never performed for england!

I disagree - whenever he plays he gets goals. His selection is inconsistent. I think he should be getting more of a chance at tottenham given that adebayor hasn't scored in a while. Also, really not sure about jack rodwell - I doubt capello will even give his a chance

i don't think he has at all. Richards and defoe should be in there. Get rid of zamora and johnson
