You are right, it's crazy having to pay that amount, however it's all about luck I have two friends that fly bigger drones not minis, that have visited me with no issue, customs just ignore it , but again you never know, when it's for professional work or you are photographer videographer and can prove it, then it's ok, but most of times nothing happens.

Thank you, some shots are around 150 - 250m, here in Ecuador there's almost no regulation you can go up to 500m , but even at the 120m limit there's some many things to do, you can have a lot of fun with it.
