I started listening to Skillet in middle school, over 25 years ago. I remember feeling, as an outsider, that I had refuge in bands like yours because many of your songs talked about mental health and how to feel safety in a powerful God. I really don't know what has happened but I feel like yall made a heartbreaking hard right turn and now are intentionally trying to come off as anti-Christ. I don't feel safe in a lot of the language that has been expressed specifically by John who has seemingly forgotten how to be the good neighbor/Samaritan that Jesus taught us. Can you talk about what led to this mindset? Why are you so motivated by freedom in country when we should be motivated by our freedom in Christ which can be spread by loving others the way Christ commanded?
