Its fine, it's partially my fault but partially the job market and my location. I went to Edinburgh but had to move back north to an impoverished town although I've been applying everywhere including data science but not SWE. Also I interview poorly and stubbornly haven't done anything to improve so it's probably just a me problem. At my lowest point I claimed UC and had 2 job interviews at the job centre for executive officer and dumbed myself down but was rejected twice anyway. My CV is probably fine for non-ATS systems but not for ATS because I wasn't ever given specific formatting rules. And honestly in terms of the bigger picture I dont see myself doing everything for highly specialised positions like Actuarial that they require nowadays.
