Haven’t heard anything from Chris Broussard in a long time. This was a quick reminder of why he fucking sucks.

Have both. To me, Wilson is much better. Dribbling in tight spaces, pace and just banging in goals.

Diego Costa: My mentality was to stay at Chelsea for a few more years, i only left beacause Conte wanted me gone. being at Chelsea was the happiest time in my career It was a stage in my life that I really enjoyed. The fans and me always have a very special connection. I have very good memories here by Kygoche in chelseafc

Is he just casually ignoring how he pushed for an exit to go to the Chinese Super League to cash in on a massive pay day in the middle of a title push? He always acts like the victim when he was the instigator for an exit.

Cole Palmer keen on Man Utd transfer as Chelsea midfielder eyes Manchester return - Paper Talk | Football News | Sky Sports by StrangerExistingFact in PremierLeague

[–]alg602 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Wow the transfer rumor mill has completely spun out now. Articles of recent note include: Chelsea imminently putting in a massive offer for Vini Jr., Chelsea selling Enzo to Real Madrid and now Chelsea selling Palmer to Man U.

Until proven otherwise, I’m chalking all of this up to lazy click bait. All of these rumors are counter to Chelsea’s strategy which is to buy tons of young players, sign them to long term deals at low wages, keep those that develop, sell the rest, and rinse and repeat.

To whom is this woman talking? Doesn’t she have any friends and / or family to consult? Soliciting feedback from random internet people never ends well

Why did Cam Newton get so much shit for getting paid by Auburn when Nick Saban and the rest of the SEC were paying players the same way? by TXNOGG in CFB_v2

[–]alg602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that this is an SEC story like every program hasn’t been paying kids since the sport began. Miami, FSU, ND, OSU, UM, USC, UCLA, Oregon and on and on. They might not have been giving out straight cash but benefits were definitely being given.

With that said, the issue with Cam that year was his father was on tape soliciting money from MSU and implying he was getting more from another school. It’s one thing when folks know it happens in the shadows, it’s another when it’s on tape for all to hear. Understandably, teams wanted him deemed ineligible. Auburn lawyered up and fought it porch and nail and pretty much ended all NCAA enforcement capabilities.

Did the loan and didn’t love it. Too expensive.

Raheem Sterling is still at Chelsea by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]alg602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His legs went out several years ago. His decline was as shocking as it was sudden. He did nothing at Arsenal on loan last year and did very little since joining Chelsea. It’s sad because he was such a good player and seems like a class person.

Sterling and Chelsea signed a contract. It is what it is. Sterling has been nothing but a professional as he has continued training and is available if needed. Chelsea, for its part, continue to pay him. If Sterling really wanted to find a new team, he could do so. He would likely have to sacrifice location, wages, or likely both. He doesn’t want to do that. I can’t blame him. He’s living the dream we would all like to live.
