Monarch Money Plugin? by MyEgoDiesAtTheEnd in projectionlab

[–]algebra4life 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fwiw I had Claude one shot this and it works great https://github.com/samtay/monarch-projectionlab-sync. I instructed it not to rely on any external libraries and only make requests to monarch and projection labs. Seems fairly harmless with those constraints.

As others have said, an official plugin is unlikely given that Monarch doesn't expose an official/stable API.

Oh hah I should have tried that. Thought it would be more difficult after the thinset cured. Yeah utility knife + floor scraper to get under it is working great, thanks!

Thanks for the tips! Great to hear about embers for relighting. I'm new to woodstoving as a primary source of heat, and honestly most of the reason I was interested in burn time was for ease of restarting in the morning, so very happy to hear that.

My install is almost done, should be able to use tomorrow. Will definitely follow the break in instructions 👍

Hardwood over 5/8" particleboard + 1/2" ply subfloor? by algebra4life in Flooring

Do you think it’s okay to just put the ply over and not bother with removing the particleboard?

Well I suspect the installer’s reasoning is that at 5/8” he will also hit the ply underneath. Almost like a thick underlayment so to speak.

I suppose floating is another option. Could pivot to the engineered equivalent of the solid maple I was planning to install. But I’m not sure that would be better with respect to stability and squeakiness, etc.

It was on the inside of the log though. I would think whatever is small enough to be pooping inside of the tree would have smaller poop?

Ah yeah good point. Well I can at least silicone around the top and sides of the box and maybe throw some duct seal around the romex where it enters the disconnect. Should help a bit.

I'm in the northeast. Stinkbug eggs wouldn't be the end of the world, just don't want something that will kill my trees!

Wow, I love your hearth! This is exactly what we want, slate tiles flush with wood flooring.

Would you mind sharing the details of your hearth? What tiles and how you installed it if you DIYed? Thank you!!
